This Privacy Policy describes how Mabid Technologies ("we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use the Unspoiled mobile application ("Application").

1. Local-First Architecture

Unspoiled is designed as a privacy-first application. Your personal inventory remains private.

• Your Personal Pantry: The specific list of items in your fridge, their quantities, and your consumption history are stored locally on your device. We cannot see what is inside your kitchen.
• Backups: If you use the backup/export feature, the resulting file is stored on your device or your chosen cloud storage (e.g., Google Drive) and is managed entirely by you.

2. Community Global Database (Cloud Features)

To provide product recognition features (e.g., "Scan to Autofill"), Unspoiled connects to a shared Global Directory. By using these features, you agree to the following data collection:

• User Generated Content: When you scan a new item or edit a product's details (Barcode, Name, Shelf Life), this specific product information is transmitted to our secure database to improve the directory for all users.
• Anonymous Identifiers: We use an anonymous, randomly generated Device ID to secure our database. This allows us to prevent spam and maintain data quality. This ID is not linked to your name, email, or personal identity.

3. Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Application, certain information is collected automatically by the platform and third-party SDKs to ensure the app works correctly:

• Device Information: Operating system version, device model, and unique device identifiers (e.g., IP address).
• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the app (e.g., crash logs or screen time).

4. Third-Party Services

The Application utilizes trusted third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device. These include:

• Supabase: Used to host the Global Product Directory. Privacy Policy
• Google Play Services: Used for app functionality and core Android features. Privacy Policy
• Google Play Billing: Used to process "Premium" upgrades. We do not see your credit card details. Privacy Policy
• AdMob: Used to display advertisements. AdMob may use your advertising ID to show relevant ads. Privacy Policy

5. Data Safety Declaration

In accordance with Google Play's Data Safety requirements:

• Collection: We declare the collection of Device IDs (for security), User Generated Content (Product Data), and Purchase History via Google's integrated systems.
• Encryption: All data transmitted between your device and our global database is encrypted in transit via HTTPS.
• No Account Required: You do not need to create an account with an email or password to use the Application.

6. Children's Privacy

The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent and discover your child has provided info, contact us at admin@mabidtechnologies.com.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
