1. Local Data Processing (Financial Information)

TrueCost is designed as a privacy-first application.

• Your Data Stays With You: Any financial information you enter into the Application (such as salary, expenses, or financial goals) is stored locally on your mobile device.
• No Backend Storage: We do not operate any servers that collect or store your financial data. We cannot see, access, or sell your financial information.
• Backups: If you use the backup/export feature, the resulting file is stored on your device or your chosen cloud storage (e.g., Google Drive) and is managed entirely by you.

2. Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Application, certain information is collected automatically by the platform and third-party SDKs to ensure the app works correctly:

• Device Information: Operating system version, device model, and unique device identifiers (e.g., IP address).
• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the app (e.g., which screens you visit or how much time you spend in the app).

3. Third-Party Services

The Application utilizes third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These include:

• Google Play Services: Used for app functionality and core Android features. Privacy Policy
• Google Play Billing: Used to process your "Premium" upgrade. While we do not see your credit card details, we receive a "Purchase Token" to verify your subscription/purchase status. Privacy Policy

4. Data Safety Declaration

In accordance with Google Play's Data Safety requirements:

• Collection: We declare the collection of Device IDs and Purchase History (for premium features) via Google's integrated systems.
• Financial Data: We do not collect or share your "Financial Information" (income/salary) as it is processed only on your device.

5. Children's Privacy

The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent and discover your child has provided info, contact us at admin@mabidtechnologies.com.
